Adventure Details

The Trad Leader course provides a structured, confidence-building introduction to leading on traditional rock protection. Participants learn how to evaluate natural features, place and assess active and passive protection, and apply sound strategies for spacing and managing risk while leading. Emphasis is placed on understanding movement-protected versus system-protected climbing and making appropriate decisions based on terrain, protection quality, and personal ability.
