It is essential for individuals who spend time in the mountains to have proper training and maintain safety skills to be prepared for when the unexpected happens – your safety doesn’t happen by accident.
Mountain skill courses include various rock rescue courses along with the following: Rock Safe, Rock Safe Pro, Multi Pitch Pro, Trad Lead, Alpine Skills, AST 1, and Companion Rescue. In addition, you can also hire a private ACMG guide to meet you where you’re at and launch you toward safety in the mountains.
This two day adventure starts when you meet your guide and get your equipment. From there we will travel to our climbing site. The two day tour allows us to focus on coaching you in technical skills like footwork, balance, and fluid movement. It also gives you more extended time for climbing while visiting a different location each day.

We will update you on the latest techniques for searching, probing, and shovelling. You will then spend the day learning how to solve multiple burials, close proximity burials, and deep burial scenarios.

Taking a rock climbing safety course is a great way to stay safe and practice scenarios that you might face when rock climbing in the mountains by yourself or with a climbing partner.
Safety is very crucial when rock climbing outdoors. Some of the hazards climbers may face include rockfall, weather changes (common in the mountains), minor personal injuries, improper use of equipment, and gear failure. That said, there are a number of things climbers could do to mitigate these risks and stay safe.
